Our team includes health advisors, doctors, sexual health nurses and support staff who are friendly, non-judgmental and will be happy to advise on any matters related to sexual health.Our services are free, confidential and open to people of all ages (including people under 16 years old).

You can order a free and confidential Sexually Transmitted Infection testing kit that you can access 24 hours a day. If you are living in County Durham or Darlington you can order a free testing kit for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis or you can order a free HIV test.
Remember, the best way to protect yourself from STI's is to use a condom. These are free with a C-Card if you're aged 13 to 24 years old, or from your local Sexual Health Clinic. Visit our Free Condoms section for advice, information and how to access.

Our Adult Bladder and Bowel Service provide a discreet and confidential service to both men and women. Our new digital self-referral removes any awkwardness, allowing patients to self-refer directly to the service without having to visit a GP or other health care professional. Instead, patients can self-refer directly.

You may have heard in the media about a new weight loss medicine - Mounjaro, also known as Tirzepatide being the newest one. The NHS expects to be able to give it to some people to help with weight loss from April 2025.
At first, this will only be for those who need it most. This will be people who:
- have a BMI (body mass index) over 35.
- have at least 1 health problem related to their weight.
